I have over 16 years clinical experience of working in public mental health and community health. I’ve specialised in child and adolescent mental health over the past 11 years including 2 years of leadership as a Clinical Lead for an Infant Child and Youth Mental Health Service. I have extensive experience in treating a range of complex mental health difficulties including: mood disorders, self harm and suicidal ideation, difficulties with emotional regulation, relational challenges, school engagement problems, drug and alcohol dependence and family relationship difficulties.

I have a special interest in anxiety disorders, eating disorders and somatic/conversion presentations.

I work collaboratively in my practice from a psychodynamic model and will ensure you have wrap around supports with other health care professionals to provide a holistic approach to your care. I draw from a range of frameworks to inform my clinical thinking including attachment theory and developmental psychiatry models; neurobiology and the impacts of trauma on the brain; systems theory and parent/dyadic intervention.
